Things to do for relief:

Duties for Relief

• Please give the pupils a three-minute break for every 1 hour of class.
• The IT rep will set up the timer on the screen.

Mon (20/4)
1. 6C (3 periods)
• Collect homework (Situational Writing – Journal)
• RCS (Reading Comprehension WS)
Go through/Teach the skill using the RCS worksheets for Term 1 with the pupils.  Discuss with the pupils.

2. 6F (2 periods)
• Go through Practice Paper 1 Booklet B
• Pupils to do corrections in green pen/pencil.

Tue (21/4)
1. 6F (2 periods)
• Vocab WS 1 & 2
Pupils to do in class and teacher to go through answers.
Pupils to do corrections and copy notes of discussion on WS.

2. 6C (5 periods)
• 1 period – Spelling (Term 2 Week 4)
• 1 period – Silent Reading
• 3 periods – Listening Comprehension
Pupils’ LC books are with them/in the cupboard.

Wed (22/4)
1. 6F (5 periods)
• 1 period – Spelling (Term 2 Week 5)
Please go through the list with the class before testing them.
(Do not show the bonus words to the pupils.)

Unit 5 Conditional 'IF'

Conditionals are commonly classified as 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Other sites will label them as Type 1, 2 or 3.

Do you know that there is even the existence of a 'Zero' conditional?
These are what we experience most of the time, probably during Science lessons!

P6C Writing Activity 2: Description of Setting

Dear class,

You are now required to use the ideas which you have brainstormed as a group and write out a paragraph describing the picture you have been given.

Steps:

1) Type out the paragraph using Word.
2) Edit and check for errors.
3) Copy and paste the paragraph using the 'Comments' link.
4) Type in your names (in pairs) and group name (in brackets).

When writing,make use of all your senses (if possible):
- Describe the colours you see?
- Describe the smells?
- What can you hear?
- What can you touch and how does it feel?
- How does the scene make you feel?
