Don't Quit!
Dear class,
I wish to encourage all of you who are sitting for your coming PSLE not to give up and despair. It's a time to gear up what you can, all you have and face the tests, knowing we are all in this together and that your families are supporting you all the way.
Cast all your worries and anxieties aside and focus on the examinations. Do not doubt your ability or potential. Remember your goals and dreams. When you put in your best, God will do the rest. I believe all of you can do anything that you put your heart into.
I wish you all the best for the papers and know that you are all in my prayers. Like the Japanese saying 'Ganbatte ne!" or the Korean "Go fighting!", let's press on till the end. Before we know it, it will be over and we will be having the time of our lives. In the mean time, hang in there and chin up, work hard, study smart! Lastly, have a wonderful happy Children's Day!
Love,
Miss Yu

China Quake & Myanmar Cyclone Disasters
Dear class,
My heart has been moved by the recent happenings in Sichuan, China and Myanmar.
Do take a moment today, pause and utter a little prayer for those who have lost their loved ones, those who are trying to get their lives back on track, the countless children who have lost their parents and the rescue workers tirelessly giving their all in the rescue efforts.
Let's not take what we have for granted but to give thanks for every little blessing.
Tell your parents and loved ones today that you truly appreciate them.

Meaning of Good Friday & Easter Sunday
Dear class,
As we are enjoying this extra day of holiday, I wish to share with you the meaning of this public holiday.
Good Friday is a day where Christians like myself commemorate Jesus's death on the cross for man's sins.
According to the bible, Jesus was crucified on the cross by the Roman soldiers. Crucification in those times was a way to punish any one who had broken any laws and it has been considered even up to today as the most cruel form of punishment known to man.
You may click on the Wiki link below to read up more about the significance of this day. Easter Sunday is to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus as on the third day, He is believed by Christians to have overcome death.

Dear class,
You are free to post on the chatbox on the right as well as the comment link for each post.
However, as responsible citizens on the internet, we should be following some netiquette:
1) Use your real name for any post or comments. Strictly no nicknames please.
Posing as others will force the chatbox to shut down.
2) Post your comments, thoughts or reflections responsibly.
No one is to use any vulgarities or rude words to slam or flame anyone.
3) Be positive in your words. Even if something is not what you like or agree with, adopt positive criticism and select your words
wisely.
4) Refrain from spamming the chatbox or comments page. This means no multiple repeated and identical comments from one
person.
Consequences from failing to observe the above rules will result in the chatbox to be removed from the blog.
This is not what I wish to have so please spare a thought for others and not deprive us of this privilege.
